Art of Hosting Southern Shoalhaven, Australia
We have experienced huge impacts in the Shoalhaven in recent years and have been working hard to ensure that our communities can access the support they need.
We are living in complex and challenging times, both locally and globally. The impact of drought, bushfires, floods and Covid-19 have left us with a compelling need to gather our experience and our efforts, and call in growth and renewal as we explore the future for ourselves, our organisations and our communities.
The Art of Hosting and Harvesting Conversations that Matter offers simple and powerful participatory practices, patterns and processes to host generative conversations that can lead to coordinated action and positive change. These approaches have been used effectively in diverse contexts worldwide to harness collective wisdom, encourage compassionate leadership and collaboration, and create better social and environmental outcomes.
In October 2022, a group of northern Shoalhaven Art of Hosting training participants came together to explore how to nourish and inspire our communities at this time. This diverse group of learners engaged in remembering and re-discovering effective ways to work well together, and supported each other in learning and in practice.
Now, there’s an opportunity to come together in the Southern Shoalhaven to draw on the support and collective wisdom needed to navigate these complex and often uncertain dynamics of our time.
We warmly invite you to join us for a 3-day Art of Hosting training at Willinga Park, Bawley Point, to explore the questions that we are passionate about, and develop new ways of working together to nourish, inspire and renew.
