Art of Hosting Calgary
A Call to Connection, Courage, and Collective Wisdom
Across Calgary and the Prairies today, many of us are experiencing a deep need for connection and rehumanization. We see burnout in people working to hold their organizations and communities together, and structures that no longer serve the complex reality we are navigating. We are challenged by division, isolation, and the difficulty of solving interconnected problems while feeling disconnected from one another.
The path forward runs through each other. It asks us to rebuild our capacity for genuine conversation, to make room for more voices at the table, and to trust that the intelligence we need is already in the room. If we create the conditions for it to surface.
It has been eight years since Calgary last hosted an Art of Hosting training. This gathering aims to be a living practice ground. A space to step away from the status quo, find the courage to explore meaningful conversations, invite more voices to lead, and identify practical steps forward.
By reweaving a living community of practice across Calgary, Treaty 7, and the region, we’re building something that outlasts three days: a local network of hosts who can hold the conversations their communities, organizations, and teams need.
