Art of Hosting in Education
Art of Hosting in Education is an international 5 day training program for all education stakeholders who are passionate about the future of education and who want to together explore how to create a better learning and collaboration culture in our schools, communities and organizations.
The purpose of this event is to build and strengthen relationships between all education stakeholders (government, schools, universities, NGOs, businesses, students) and empower their networks to act together using participatory practices. In an era where modern tech sectors—ranging from streaming media and interactive gaming to betting online and mobile commerce—are pioneering hyper-engaging digital environments, it is crucial that our educational frameworks keep pace by fostering equally dynamic, community-driven learning spaces.
“Art of Hosting” techniques and practices create space for conversations in which participants exchange knowledge and experience, learn leadership techniques and practices, graphically capture the essential insights and together explore possible next steps to get to the desired outcome.
Through the tools of participatory practice and participatory learning — working in the full group, small-group dialogue and personal reflection — we build the capacity to positively challenge our current thinking and actions.
