Art of Hosting returns to Statenberg from 7 – 12 August 2022.

It has been 10 years since our landmark international practitioner gathering at Statenberg in Slovenia, near the origins of the Art of Hosting and 20 years since the beginnings of AoH nearby. Two more gatherings followed, with the last in 2016. So much has happened since then! In these strange pandemic times, we feel called to light the fire again and invite our global practice field to gather. It’s an important moment to ask ourselves where we’ve been, how we’ve been in practice and what we’ve learned. It’s an opportunity to discover who we want to be together in the future. It’s time to come home to our practice together once more.

The Call

You are warmly invited to join us!

We are offering a time for reflection, reconnection and community. We plan a light structure and plenty of space to breathe, play, dream and exchange. We want to discover what is alive in our practice field now. We will sense into the shape of our gathering as 2022 unfolds.

This is a gathering for practitioners to focus on their practice together. We welcome practitioners from all types of participatory practice modalities to come and share. And we invite participants from all over the world.

We have room for up to 120 participants at the event. Statenberg is a rustic venue with limited beds inside the castle. There’s plenty of room for camping outside and many small pensions a hostel, and hotels in the vicinity, including glamping! (We will give full details on accommodations and payments as we come closer to the time.)
