Art of Hosting Participatory Leadership Training
Who am I called to be at this time? Confronted by so much change, polarization and new and uncertain futures, we can find ourselves in krisis. In Greek, this is also the word for “the mental process that leads to a decision or choice”. Do we retreat and cling to our comfort zones? Or do we discover ways to respond to the emerging chaos and collapse? This is a time when we are being asked to take our place in our lives and in the world, regardless of the context in which we live and work.
Here in Greece, a new system is being born within the old one. The multiple scales of crisis over the past 8 years cultivated a fertile practice ground, moving from protest to prototyping.
This Art of Participatory Leadership training will focus on the art of hosting in collapse, chaos and complexity. We wish to share what we have been learning from the past eight years of hosting in this context here in Greece. As a team, AoH-Athens has been collecting and capturing a body of knowledge of how to host when the usual orienting points have been pulled, when you need to host in transitions between the old and the new.
