Great Facilitation: An Art of Hosting Intensive

As teams and their organizations become more effective at communication and getting work done, the need for skilled and adaptive facilitation becomes even more crucial.  Whether people are converging on a new horizon, melding tensions with stakeholders, or proactively confronting the polarization in our communities, as active participants and citizens in our daily lives, we have a deep desire to be working, more authentically, meaningfully, and sustainably, together.

A wishbone?– the ability to inspire, lead with hope, and to be transparent. What if leaders knew how to support each other in complexity and to evolve not just “what” we do, but “how” we do it, why we do it, and enlist others?

A backbone?– Tough times require decision making. What might be possible when we dig deep, together, to explore, resolve and illuminate the challenges we face instead of creating more conflict over its effects?

A funny bone?  – Laughter – a very human way to be “in it together”. What if our collective funny bone could transform the way we meet? The way we gather? The way we take action?

Great facilitation is a way of leading, being and doing.  All of this is central to the art of hosting practice.
